Welcome to the Statewide Universal Healthcare Tour hosted by Dr. Tammy Carpenter and Healthcare for All Oregon Action (HCAO Action)!
Throughout September, Dr. Tammy will be touring the state with HCAO Action to promote this exciting proposal and to hear from Oregonians everywhere about what they want to see in the final plan.
Dr. Tammy, who just won the Democratic primary in Beaverton, on the promise of healthcare for every Oregonian, will sponsor a bill for statewide universal healthcare in 2027. She is traveling across Oregon this September to answer one basic question:
What do YOU want to see in YOUR universal healthcare plan?

Take Action! Oregon can be the first state to adopt a universal health care system. Our state's Universal Health Plan Governance Board is delivering their transition plan this fall. HCAO Action and our sister 501(c)(3) organization, Health Care for All Oregon (HCAO), have spent years making the case for universal health care. Now the campaign enters a new phase: building the political power required to pass universal health care in Oregon. That’s where we come in. We are a statewide 501(c)4 organization working to achieve a comprehensive, equitable, publicly funded, and high-quality health care system to serve all Oregon residents.
How We Get There:
Secure sufficient legislative support to turn universal health care into law in Oregon
Launch a winning statewide campaign in Summer 2027.
